About NTD Communications

NTD Communications is the name under which two Internet veterans now bring web hosting solutions to the world. It currently exists as a part of Bob Novak And Associates.

Bob Novak has been in business for 27 years. As a commercial photographer and graphic designer, he has created many companies' printed promotional materials, and since the first release of Mosaic he has brought them to the Web. He is part of Triton College's faculty, teaching photography, computer science, digital imaging and web design.

Rich Derr has been involved in the web hosting industry since before it was widely recognized, in 1995. He is an accomplished system administrator, integrator, and software developer, at home with C, Java, PHP, or Perl. He has run a hosting business before, but without the resources, partnerships, and business experience to turn its technical accomplishments into a sustainable business it sadly faded away.

Their complementary skills and common vision led these entrepreneurs to a partnership that formed soon after they first met. Under the banner of NTD Communications, their goal is to bring the advantages of Internet technology to businesses and people everywhere.
